What a great and easy way to count beads. Just adjust the sliding piece to expose the number of holes you want, pour beads over the counter, gently shake. One bead falls into each hole, the remaining slide off onto your bead mat or other surface to catch them. Now in a few seconds you’ve counted up to 100 beads!

The board with the 7mm holes is good for 5 – 6.5mm beads; the one with the 9mm holes is good for 7 – 8.5 mm beads. You’ll need other size boards for smaller beads, since if you use these for smaller beads, two or more beads might fall into the same hole.

The 7mm diameter hole board has 100 holes (10 rows of 10), the 9mm has 72 holes (9 rows of 8).

These are great tools if you are counting a lot of beads for a beaded kumihimo necklace you’re making on a Kumiloom (if you are using the larger beads these are meant for).
